Group Volunteer Donation Program:  We Pay Our Volunteer Groups!

13.1 Marathon™ Chicago will need an army of energetic and enthusiastic individuals. We have developed a Group Volunteer Donation Program to help assist us in obtaining the high numbers we need. Groups are given monetary compensation for their time helping out on race day.
Groups of 10 people or more are eligible for a coordinator donation or $150 and each individual volunteer in the group is eligible for a $10 donation. This is a great way for sports teams, church groups, committees, clubs etc.. to raise some money.

Here are some of the things we could use help with: water stations (groups of 10 or more), start line support, finish line support, course marshals, registration and packet pick-up support, logistics and set-up (these are the people who get to lift and move things and work at night!)

If you are interested in volunteering for this event or any others, please email or give us a call at (800) 596-5990.

RUNNER'S WALL - WARRIOR TOUR
As America's Voice of Running, Rob Powers honored to welcome you to join the first ever Running with Warriors Tour. Never in all his years as a national team athlete, collegiate and Olympic Teams coach did he ever think he'd be able to reach out to his friends in the sport of running...and work with them to produce World Class Events for our Soldiers, let alone Soldiers serving in a combat area of operation!

While the race locations, times and participants will remain a secret until completion of all events...and final results are posted on the results page... he would ask that anyone who feels the need to reach out to our Troops to do so by posting photos and messages on our Facebook page.

Thank You All Again For Helping Make History!

The American Red Cross of Greater Chicago Charity Running Program

The Red Cross Charity Running Program (Run Red Team) began in 2002 when the Chicago Marathon introduced a coordinated charity program. We were proud to be recognized as an Official Charity of the Chicago Marathon, and with that recognition, we were able to build our running team. The team strives to create social awareness of our important work while providing a running environment with ample training and learning opportunities.

Funds raised by the Red Cross Charity Running Program support the programs of the American Red Cross of Greater Chicago, including the Patient Connection Program and Health and Safety Education, and aid in the delivery of our life-saving mission.
