Active Trainer

The New York 13.1 Marathon® has teamed up with ActiveTrainer coaches to create a half marathon training programs that are a balance of aerobic, anaerobic and cross-training workouts. This training program is built to get people of all levels across the finish line. From the first-timer to the seasoned veteran, you will find the right training program for you.

Local Training Groups


Local training groups are organizing for the New York 13.1 Marathon®! Join the fun through any of our partners - local running stores, clubs and social or charity training groups.

Local Training Runs

We will have your second New 13.1 Marathon® training run on Saturday, February 18 at 9:00 AM. It will start at Paragon Sports, 867 Broadway (at 18th Street), and continue to Hudson River Park where you can run either 8 or 10 miles under the supervision of group pacers.

After the training run we will be serving refreshments at Paragon Sports, and have a raffle for an iPod Shuffle and Craft socks. In order to take part you must sign up by calling 212.255.8889 or email customerservice@paragonsports.com.
