Dane Rauschenberg, motivational speaker, running coach and an extreme marathoner who ran 52 marathons in 52 consecutive weekends, will be appearing at the 13.1® Miami Beach packet pickup on Saturday, March 6 from 9 AM - 4 PM. He will share stories from his year-long running adventure as well as signing copies of his book, See Dane Run, which chronicles the journey he took from non-runner to pushing the boundaries of this sport. Dane will also be speaking about his next adventure - a solo running of the 204-mile 12-person American Odyssey Relay in April and taking questions from those in the audience. He will speak at 11 AM and 2 PM.
Party Time
Continuous entertainment, bands, and dancers all along the course will propel you to the exciting Latin food and dancing bash at our beachside finish line party. We'll have arroz con pollo, a live salsa band, a dance floor to show off your moves, a kids corner with face painting and balloon animals, free massage, sand castle making demonstrations and much more.
