There is very limited street parking around the South Shore Cultural Center so the 13.1 Marathon® Chicago is offering FREE Shuttle Service. We highly recommend you take advantage of this service to ensure you arrive at the start on time. Participants will be able to ride the shuttles for free, using their confirmation postcard (which they will receive in the mail) or their confirmation email, which will be sent the week of the event. Any spectator wishing to ride the shuttle will need a $5 roundtrip ticket, which can be purchased at packet pickup or at the shuttle location on race morning. The shuttles will begin running after the event, taking participants & Spectators to the pickup locations. 13.1 Marathon® Chicago will have three shuttle locations:
Museum of Science & Industry (5700 S. Lake Shore Drive)
There will be two shuttle options from the Museum of Science & Industry, 5:30 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. shuttles. We highly encourage participants to take the 5:30 a.m. shuttle, to ensure they have adequate time to check their gear, visit the Port-o-let and get warmed up before the start of the race. Parking is available for $16 (cash only) at the garage for the day. The shuttles will pick up in front of the Museum on the large circle drive.
W Lakeshore (644 N. Lake Shore Drive)
The W Lakeshore shuttle stop will service the participants staying at or near the hotel. The shuttles will pick up in front of the hotel, along inner Lake Shore Drive. This shuttle leaves at 5:30 a.m.
