Awards & Medals
All participants that complete the half marathon at 13.1® Atlanta will receive a unique finisher medal (from the company that created the popular "Spinning Peach" medal for the ING Georgia Marathon and Half Marathon®).
Awards will be held on location during the post-race activities at the Oglethorpe University. Please note that all age group awards are based on chip time, NOT gun time. However, Open winners and course records will be determined according to gun time.
Custom designed medals will be awarded 3 deep in each of the below age group for both males and females.

2010 Series Awards
There will be multiple levels of special achievement that individual athletes can attain throughout the 2010 13.1 Marathon® Series.
Complete three (3) events in the series to earn a special award medal!
Complete six (6) events in the series to earn a custom, personalized plaque!
Complete the entire series to earn an amazing award - Entries to any 13.1® Series event for LIFE!
Awards are based off achievement of events within calendar year 2010. Qualifying events in 2010 are:
Los Angeles - January 10
Miami Beach - March 7
New York City - April 3
Chicago - June 13
Boston - June 27
Minneapolis - August 22
Atlanta - October 3
Fort Lauderdale - November 14
